Meet Quinton Williams, Director of Bands at Lang Middle School in Dallas, Texas, where he orchestrates excellence across grades 6-8. Leading the Beginner Band, Percussion Ensembles, and Wind Symphony Band, Quinton cultivates a legacy of achievement. His students shine at UIL contests, Solo and Ensemble competitions, and All-City and All-Region Honor Bands, consistently earning top honors with Superior and Excellent ratings.
With a dynamic background, Quinton previously shaped musical futures at Duncan Public Schools, excelling as Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Percussion. There, he helped propelle the high school band to a Sweepstakes Award and guided the middle school band to Superior Ratings at OSSAA Band Contests. His leadership also propelled the high school percussion ensemble to prestigious performances at state PASIC conventions and invited guest spots at universities, all while securing superior ratings at district and state levels.
Before Duncan, Quinton ignited musical passion as an elementary music educator in Lawton, Oklahoma, and as percussion instructor at Cache High School, where he pioneered the percussion ensemble to Superior ratings at district and state competitions.
Quinton Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Cameron University, where his talent and academic prowess earned him multiple prestigious scholarships. He later pursued a Masters of Science in Administrative Leadership, further enhancing his educational leadership.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Quinton cherishes family life with his wife Brenda and their three children, Allyson, Amelia, and Quinton Jr., continuing to inspire and uplift through his dedication to music education.
